Learn to fish on boars lodge
Boars Lodge is our smallest water and is the perfect place to get into fishing whether it’s for yourself or your younger ones. Packed with a wide range of species there’s plenty of fish in here to catch.
Boars is well stocked with plenty of smaller fish including Roach, Rudd, Tench, Crucian Carp, Gudgeon, Goldfish, Skimmers and Carp up to 5lbs.
Coarse fishing on perchy
Set in the centre of our fishery, Perchy is a good all round coarse fishing water with direct access from either car park.
Perchy is also well stocked with Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Orfe, Goldfish, Crucian Carp, Perch and Carp up to 15lbs.
A very enjoyable days fishing can be had on here with easy access to all pegs.

Abbotts Lodge is our specimen lake which boasts Carp to over 30 lbs, Wels Catfish to over 50lbs and Sturgeon to over 30lbs.
There’s also some good Roach, Rudd, Bream and Tench too!
Night fishing is allowed with Cabins available to book if you don’t have a bivvy! These are subject to availability and need to be booked in advance.
fishing rules
- No braided mainline
- No fixed lead systems
- Must have minimum 42” landing net, unhooking Matt and sling to fish Abbotts
- All nets,cradles slings must be dipped and rinsed in net wash
- No under 16 year olds fishing on Abbotts un-accompanied unless we know you and know you can fish and fish safety is paramount (Baliff’s discretion)
- Micro barb/barbless hooks only no barbed (no bigger than size 8 on Perchy/boars)
- Floater bait fishing allowed on Abbotts only (not perchy or boars)
- Particle must be prepped properly
- No Fires at all not even in a burning bin (we relaxed this and allowed people to burn in bins off the ground but people can’t clean up properly after themselves so this is now banned)
- Any litter left behind by any anglers receive an instant lifetime ban
- Anglers allowed 1 spectator if it’s wife/partner/child in the same bivvy/cabin
- No excessive drinking or loud music this is a fishery not a race or party
